Hey there, The name's Andrew a.k.a. Murdog a.k.a. Brosiedon a.k.a. Andy P Killa. You get the point. I'm 19 and I am a student at the University of Oregon. However, I often find myself back in California because that's where I come from. Hope you like my blog and feel free to ask me about anything.

Are you kidding me?!

I got Say Anything’s Anarchy, My Dear 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE RELEASE. Not to mention it’s in 320 quality. God I love the internet.

I just want to say something about this band. This band is amazing. They changed my life. I’m not kidding. I saw them at Coachella this year. I witnessed thousands of people crying to their music. It was astonishing to see so many individuals so involved in this band. Their first album has meant the world to me. It will always be a classic. Unfortunately, I feel that with such success that the mass media will only continue to put pressure on them. So many people want a repeat of Sigh No More. Lets face it, it will never be repeated. That album was emotional, magical and powerful. It has set a bar so high that nothing will touch it. I would love to hear new material, but I will not be one of the many waiting for a repeat. I’m listening with new ears, because in reality, that’s what every album deserves from any band.

Cosmic Love - Florence + The Machine

The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out

You left me in the dark

No dawn, no day, I’m always in this twilight

In the shadow of your heart

Music?

So I’ve noticed a major change in my musical preferences ove the course of the last six months. Basically I went from listening to Of Mice & Men, Attack Attack!, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me the Horizon, August Burns Red, Emmure, D.R.U.G.S., Asking Alexandria, Casino Madrid, and Woe, Is Me to Death Cab for Cutie, The Black Keys, The XX, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Jack’s Mannequin, Mumford & Sons, and Bright Eyes.

So I have to ask myself, how did I make such a change in my musical preferences? How did I go from fitting in with the scene kids at Soma concerts to listening to the slowest music possible with Hipster/Indie nation?

I blame Coachella. (In a good way).
